CIPET IPT Bhubaneswar Recruitment 2026: Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET) IPT-Bhubaneswar invites applications from eligible candidates for contractual engagement on below mentioned positions on Contract basis one year (renewable up to 03 years based on the performance and requirement).

Vacancy Details (ଶୂନ୍ୟପଦ ବିବରଣୀ)

Eligibility Criteria (ଯୋଗ୍ୟତା ମାପଦଣ୍ଡ)

1. Associate Professor (Production/Mechanical Engineering)

• Minimum Qualifications: Full time First Class BE/B.Tech. and ME/M.Tech. in the relevant discipline
• Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in teaching and / or research and / or industry of which at least 2 years of post Ph. D experience is desirable.
• Age Limit: Must be below 65 years.
• Maximum term of Engagement on contract: 1 Year (Renewable upto 3 years based on performance and requirement).

2. Associate Professor (Plastics /Polymer Engineering)

• Minimum Qualifications: Full time First Class BE/B.Tech. and ME/M.Tech. in the relevant discipline from a recognized University with Ph. D in the relevant discipline. Post PhD publications and guiding PhD student is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum 5 year’s experience in teaching and / or research and / or industry of which at least 2 years of post Ph. D experience is desirable.
• Age Limit: Must be below 65 years.
• Maximum term of Engagement on contract: 1 Year (Renewable up to 3 years based on performance and requirement).

3. Assistant Professor (Material Science/Physics)

• Minimum Qualifications: i) Full-time Master’s Degree with (NET)
• Experience: At least 2 years post qualification Experience in the relevant discipline.
• Age Limit: Must be below 65 years.
• Maximum term of Engagement on contract: 1 Year (Renewable up to 3 years based on performance and requirement).

4. Assistant Professor (Polymer Science)

• Minimum Qualifications: i) Full time Master’s Degree with (NET)
• Experience: At least 2 years post qualification Experience in the relevant discipline.
• Age Limit: Must be below 65 years.
• Maximum term of Engagement on contract: 1 Year (Renewable up to 3 years based on performance and requirement).

5. Assistant Professor (Chemical Engineering)

• Minimum Qualifications: Full time First Class BE/B.Tech. and ME/M.Tech.in the relevant discipline . Experience: 2 years post qualification Experience in the relevant discipline OR Full time First Class BE/B.Tech. & ME/M.Tech. in relevant discipline and; Ph.D in the relevant discipline.
• Age Limit: Must be below 65 years.
• Maximum term of Engagement on contract: 1 Year (Renewable upto 3 years based on performance and requirement).

6. Assistant Professor (English)

• Minimum Qualifications: Full time Master’s Degree with (NET)
• Experience: At least 2 years post qualification Experience in the relevant discipline.
• Age Limit: Must be below 65 years.
• Maximum term of Engagement on contract: 1 Year (Renewable upto 3 years based on performance and requirement).

Salary Details (ଦରମାବିବରଣୀ)

• Associate Professor (Production/ Mechanical Engineering): Rs. 46,400/- p.m.
• Associate Professor (Plastics/Polymer-Engineering): Rs. 46,400/- p.m.
• Assistant Professor (Polymer Science): Rs. 35,000 to 40,000/- p.m.
• Assistant Professor (Material Science/Physics): Rs. 35,000 to 40,000/- p.m.
• Assistant Professor (English): Rs. 35,000 to 40,000/- p.m.
• Assistant Professor (Chemical Engineering): Rs. 35,000 to 40,000/- p.m.
