Ghani Khan Choudhury Institute of Engineering and Technology(GKCIET) is going to conduct Walk in Interview on 07-09-26 for the following assignment in a purely time bound research project undertaken in the Department of Civil Engineering of this institute.

GKCIET Malda Vacancy Details (শূন্যপদ বিবরণী)

• Name of the Temporary Assignment: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
• Post: 1 (one)
• Name of the temporary research project: Hydrological and Hydrodynamic Modelling of Brahmaputra River/Mahananda River for the Assessment of Flood Affected Areas
• PI: Dr. Kiran Yarrakula
• Sponsoring Agency: MSR Constructions, Nellore, Andhra Pradesh
• Duration of the Project: The duration of the position is 1 year. However, the performance of the candidate will be rigorously reviewed every year and the fellowship will be renewed only upon satisfactory performance).

GKCIET Malda JRF Eligibility Criteria (যোগ্যতামাপদণ্ড)

• Qualifications & Experience: B.Tech in Geoinformatics or M.Tech in Water Resources Engineering or M.Tech in Geoinformatics or M.Tech in Remote Sensing and GIS or M.Sc in Geoinformatics or M.Sc in Remote Sensing and GIS or M.Tech Environmental Management.
• Desirable Experience: Experience in handing Satellite Images, Data Analysis, ARC GIS, ENVI, ERDAS Imagine, HEC HMS, HEC RAS/ MIKE
• Age Limit: 28 years Relaxation up to 5 years in the case of SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/Visually Handicapped and female applicant

GKCIET Malda JRF Salary Details (বেতনবিবরণী)

• Consolidated Compensation: Rs 8000/-
• Accommodation: The selected candidate also eligible for on-campus hostel and mess facility. Subjected to availability.
