1. School of Mechanical Engineering (IIT Guwahati TIDF TIH Sponsored Research Project):
- Project Title: “Autonomous Underwater Decoy Confusion and Torpedo Guidance System for Enhanced Naval Warfare”

2. School of Aerospace Engineering (ARDB, Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India Sponsored Project):
- Project Title: “Computational investigation for development of spike geometries generating maximum drag reduction over various blunt bodies at supersonic speeds of Mach 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0, respectively” (ARDB/AP/4417/2249)
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Position available (Contractual for a period of two years)
Eligibility Criteria (ଯୋଗ୍ୟତା ମାପଦଣ୍ଡ)
For Assistant Project Engineer:
- Candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a First Division. Both GATE and non-GATE candidates.
For Project Intern:
- Candidates must be in the final year of their Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and have a CGPA of more than 8.0.
For Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
- Essential Qualification: Candidates having B.Tech. (Aerospace) with hands on experience in CFD (preferably ANSYS).
- Desirable Criteria: M.Tech. in (Aerospace Engineering), hands on experience in CFD based software (preferably ANSYS) and understanding in compressible flows.
Salary Details (ଦରମାବିବରଣୀ)
- Assistant Project Engineer Fellowship: ₹22,000/- per month (fixed)
- Project Intern Fellowship: ₹5,000/- per month (fixed)
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Remuneration: Rs. 37,000/- per month

ଚୟନପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟା (Selection Process)
- Mechanical Engineering Project: Selection via interview. (Note: The initial duration of contract will be for 01 (one) year, which may be extended for 01 (one) more year or up to the duration of the project, whichever is earlier).
- Aerospace Engineering Project: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Preference will be given to the candidates having valid GATE score. The candidate selected as JRF is eligible for pursuing MTech/Ph.D. programme as per KIIT Deemed to be University rules and regulations.

Duration
Duration: Initially for one year; extendable up to the tenure of the project, subject to performance and availability of funds.
Fellowship
Fellowship: Rs. 20,000 per month + 20% HRA
Age Limit
Age Limit: The upper age limit of the candidate should not be more than 28 years of age as on 16 August 2026. Age relaxations will be given as per the Government of India norms.
