Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: M.V.Sc or B.V.Sc & A.H.
- Preferences: Candidates with a Master’s Degree and specific experience in Wildlife, particularly Elephant Management, will be given preference.
- Experience: Wildlife Veterinarians or Retired Veterinarians with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing healthcare services to sick and injured wild animals at the site of detection.
- Monitoring and daily surveillance of wild animals to detect communicable and non-communicable diseases.
- Assisting in the rescue, rehabilitation, and tranquilization/sedation of wild animals.
- Reducing man-animal conflict by creating awareness among local communities.
- Performing diagnostic services, including on-spot examination of fecal, blood, and urine samples.
