Eligibility criteria for Stenographer Vacancy Income Tax Department Odisha region:
Individuals serving as Stenographers within the Central Government:
(i) Occupying a similar post on a permanent basis within their parent cadre or department; or
(ii) Possessing ten years of uninterrupted service in Pay Level-4 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 25,500–81,100) or in a comparable role.
Non-eligibility criteria for Stenographer Vacancy Income Tax Department Odisha region::
(i) Stenographer Grade-I officials in the Income Tax Department are not qualified for appointment on ‘Deputation.’
(ii) Stenographer Grade-II officials in the Income Tax Department are ineligible since they are part of the feeder cadre

(i) While serving on deputation, the official will be subject to the standard terms of deputation as outlined in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension OM No. 2/29/91-Estt.(Pay-II), dated January 5, 1994, and modified by OM No. AB-6/8/2009-Estt.(Pay-II) dated June 17, 2010.
(ii) The posting or transfer of selected candidates will be carried out in accordance with the prevailing regulations..
(iii) Generally, a candidate who has been selected will not be permitted to withdraw their name.
(iv) Applications from willing employees who meet the necessary qualifications and eligibility criteria, and whose services can be released, should be submitted through the appropriate channel to the office of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Odisha Region, Aayakar Bhawan, Rajaswa Vihar, Bhubaneswar – 751007.
(v) Applications must reach this office within 60 days of the advertisement’s publication in the Employment News. When forwarding the bio-data, the respective Head of Office/Department must confirm that the candidates’ information has been verified and that they fulfill the eligibility criteria.
(vi) Any application that is incomplete, not sent through the proper channel, lacks the required certificates or documents, or is received after the specified deadline will not be taken into account.
(vii) This notification has been released with the consent of the competent authority.
