Brief About OAVS : Students in CBSE-affiliated schools throughout the state, particularly those from semi-urban and rural areas, are eligible for free, high-quality education through the Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS). In addition to academic excellence, the Adarsha Vidyalaya seeks to nurture the talents of the rural areas by fostering 21st century learning abilities through a comprehensive and integrated approach to their physical and aesthetic development.
ODISHA ADARSHA VIDYALAYA SANGATHAN(OAVS) Hinjilicut, Ganjam is inviting application from eligible candidates for the recruitment of PGTs and TGTs in their organization. The candidates are suggested to apply the positions by going through the following vacancies details.

Selection process:
- The candidate must present themselves before the selection board for empanelment.
- The career mark for impalement will be taken into consideration by the board.
- Marks will be calculated by considering 10% of the percentages obtained in the HSC examination (excluding extra optional subjects), Bachelor’s degree, and B.Ed. level combined for TGT candidates; and HSC (excluding extra optional subjects), Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree, M.Phil., Ph.D., and B.Ed. levels combined for Principal and PGT candidates. For example, if a candidate scores 67% in HSC, 6.7 marks will be considered, and similarly for the Bachelor’s degree level. If a candidate scores 67%, 62%, and 70% in HSC, Bachelor’s degree, and B.Ed. respectively, the computed total would be 6.7 + 6.2 + 7.0 = 19.9. Additionally, since M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees are treated as extra qualifications, 5 marks may be added for each. The final panel will be prepared based on the total marks calculated in this manner.
- The list of chosen instructors to be hired will be finalized by the selection committee based on the district’s open OAVS positions. The principal will issue an engagement order after receiving notification from the nodal principals identifying the name of the OAV in which they are to be involved..
How to apply:
The fully completed application form, along with all necessary enclosures, must reach the “Nodal Principal, Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya, Sasana Ambagan, Hinjilicut, Dist: Ganjam, PIN – 761101” in a sealed envelope clearly marked ‘Application for the Post of _‘ via Registered or Speed Post only.
Documents to be enclosed with the completed application form:
- Two recent color passport-size photographs.
- Voter ID, PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, or any other valid ID proof.
- Matriculation Certificate and Mark Sheet.
- Intermediate (+2/12th) Certificate and Mark Sheet.
- Graduation (B.A./B.Sc.) Certificate and Mark Sheet.
- B.Ed. Certificate and Mark Sheet.

Candidates are required to attend at OAV, Chamakhandi, Chatrapur on 14.05.2025 at 10:30 AM for TGT applicants and on 15.05.2025 at 10:30 AM for PGT applicants.
