Position: Psychological Counsellor

Essential Qualification:

  • Master’s degree in Psychology / Education (M.Ed.) / M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology

Desired Qualification:

  • Strong communication skills (multilingual ability will be an added advantage)

Experience Required:

  • Prior experience in counselling young adults (18–30 years) in an educational institution or mental health-care setting.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in counselling students at residential institutes of higher learning with highly competitive academic environments.

PROJECT-SPECIFIC RECRUITMENT

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Project Assistant (02 posts) on a contractual basis for 5 months in the project titled:

“Pervious Geopolymer Pavement Blocks: An Eco-Friendly Alternative to Concrete”
(Department of Chemistry, School of Applied Sciences, KIIT)

Position: Project Assistant
Number of Posts: 02
Duration: 5 months
Remuneration: ₹25,000 per month

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in literature review, material preparation, laboratory testing, and data recording.
  • Support casting and evaluation of pavement block samples.
  • Maintain laboratory inventory and compile experimental data for analysis and reporting.
  • Provide administrative support including documentation and procurement coordination.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Requirement:

  • Essential: Bachelor’s (B.Sc./B.E./B.Tech) or Master’s (M.Sc./M.E./M.Tech) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related fields.
  • Preferred: Exposure to cementitious materials, concrete technology, or pavement design.

Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of concrete casting, testing, and civil engineering lab procedures.
  • Familiarity with lab equipment (e.g., tensile/compression testing machines, permeability apparatus).
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of CAD or data plotting is an advantage.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in academic/industrial research projects is desirable but not mandatory.
