Vacancy at EMRS Mahasingi Kandhamal: EKALAVYA MODEL RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL MAHASINGI, KANDHAMAL has issued official notification on 30/04/2025 for the engagement of guest faculty on purely temporary basis through walk-in-interview.

Brief about EMRS Mahasingi: Similar to the Gurukul, which is situated in a natural setting and is peaceful, quiet, and advantageous for tribal students, is EMRS, Mahasingi. Its goal is to establish an environment in which the tribe children are motivated, capable, free, and knowledgeable enough to make wise choices about the world and their own role in it. It is founded in densely populated tribal areas of the state with the primary goal of establishing a model residential institution dedicated to providing high-quality education to tribal students from elementary school through senior secondary school and preparing them to become capable future citizens on par with students from the general population.

EMRS Mahasingi is inviting applications from the eligible candidates for filling up the post of guest faculty for various teaching positions. The applicants are suggested to go through the vacancies details for applying the positions.

PGT (History)
No. of post: 01 Qualification/ Eligibility: I. The applicant should be Postgraduate degree holder with 50% in the relevant subject or disciplines, and overall with a B.Ed. II. The applicant should have proficiency to Teach Hindi, English, and Odia. III. The applicant should have computer application knowledge.

PGT (Economics)
No. of post: 01 Qualification/ Eligibility: I. The applicant should be Postgraduate degree holder with 50% in the relevant subject or disciplines, and overall with a B.Ed. II. The applicant should have proficiency to Teach Hindi, English, and Odia. III. The applicant should have computer application knowledge.

PGT (Geography)
No. of post: 01 Qualification/ Eligibility: I. The applicant should be Postgraduate degree holder with 50% in the relevant subject or disciplines, and overall with a B.Ed. II. The applicant should have proficiency to Teach Hindi, English, and Odia. III. The applicant should have computer application knowledge.

TGT (Mathematics)
No. of post: 01 Qualification/ Eligibility: I. The applicant should be Postgraduate degree holder with 50% in the relevant subject or disciplines, and overall with a B.Ed. II. The applicant should have proficiency to Teach Hindi, English, and Odia. III. The applicant should have computer application knowledge.

TGT (PET Female)
No. of post: 01 Qualification/ Eligibility: I. The applicant should be Postgraduate degree holder with 50% in the relevant subject or disciplines, and overall with a B.PED. II. The applicant should have proficiency to Teach Hindi, English, and Odia. III. The applicant should have computer application knowledge.

Remuneration
The PGTs are entitled to receive Rs.320 per period and restricted to 45,000/- and the TGTs will receive Rs.300 per period and restricted to 42,000/-.

Age Limit
The maximum age for guest faculty at the time of application is 62 , and retired teachers who are hired as guest faculty under the program will be let go once they become 65.

Important Instructions:

1. The applicants are required to bring bio-data along with photo copy of all the relevant supporting documents and also original qualification certificates for verification purpose.
2. There will be no TA or DA for the candidates’ attendance at the interview.
