Tata steel job vacancy 2025: Tata steel has released notification for filling up the post of Jr Engineer, I (NL-D grade)

Tata steel is inviting online application from qualified diploma holders on pan India basis for the recruitment of Jr Engineer for its Ludhiana Projects. The interested candidates are suggested to go through the following vacancy details before applying for the positions.

Educational Qualification

1. A three-year full-time diploma in electrical, electronic, instrumentation, mechanical, production, or metallurgical studies from any university approved by the UGC or AICTE is required.
Those with diplomas in the aforementioned fields from Tata Steel Technical Institute, Burma Mines, R D Tata Technical Education Center, Jamshedpur, and J N Tata Technical Education Center, Gopalpur, may also apply.
Candidates that are enrolled in correspondence, part-time, or distance learning programs will not be considered.
2. Marks: Minimum 55% marks aggregate in Diploma Engineering for General candidates.
Minimum 50% marks aggregate in Diploma Engineering for Female/ SC/ ST/ Transgender/PwD candidates

Mandatory Experience
At least three (3) years of relevant work experience, ideally in an electric arc furnace or steel manufacturing facility as of May 1, 2025, following the receipt of a diploma certificate.

Age Criteria
General candidates must have been born on or after May 1, 1993. Candidates must have been female, SC, ST, transgender, or PwD and must have been born on or after May 1, 1990.

Remuneration
The chosen applicants would be assigned to the Jr. Engineer, I (NL-D grade) position in Ludhiana with a beginning basic salary of Rs. 13,500/-pm and a CTC of Rs. 5.06 LPA. The remaining benefits and emoluments will be determined by the company’s policy that applies to this grade. As is customary, candidates with four years or more of relevant experience will get additional compensation.

Selection Procedure for Tata steel job vacancy 2025:

Candidates who meet the requirements must show up for the written exam and interview process. Every step will be a phase of elimination.
Before being given consideration for a position at Tata Steel, qualified applicants who are currently working for the Tata Group Company, its subsidiaries, or an associate company must provide a letter of employment from their existing employer. During the interview, the NOC must be presented.
Prior to their appointment, all chosen applicants must be deemed medically fit in accordance with the company’s medical fitness criteria.
Prior to their appointment, all chosen candidates will go through a background check in accordance with company policy.

At any point during the selection process, candidates who are determined to be ineligible based on the established criteria shall be immediately eliminated from consideration for further consideration.
