Selection process for the recruitment of junior executive at HPCL:
- Depending on the requirements of the position, the selection process may involve a variety of shortlisting and selection tools, such as the Computer Based Test (CBT), Group Task/Group Discussion, Skill Test, Personal Interview, Pre-Employment Medical Examination, Physical Fitness Efficiency Test, etc.
- All applicants who assert they meet the necessary qualifying requirements may be invited to take a computer-based test.
- The computer-based test will have two sections and objective questions. (i) General aptitude, which includes the English language, quantitative aptitude, and intellectual potential tests (data interpretation and logical reasoning) (ii). Professional and technical knowledge that includes questions.
- Depending on their merit and a predetermined ratio, candidates who pass the computer-based test may be invited to participate in a group task or discussion, a skill test, and a personal interview. Candidates will be referred for a skill test and personal interview if they pass the group task or discussion. Candidates who make the short list will also be submitted for a physical fitness efficiency test and pre-employment medical examination.
- To be considered for further selection, candidates must receive a minimum of qualifying scores in each of the relevant selection process phases.
Posting & Placement:
Anywhere in the nation may be the posting or assignment location for the Corporation’s Department of Refineries Division. After that, the services can be transferred to any SBU, Department, or Division based on the needs of the company. Shift labor is required for these roles. Additionally, chosen applicants may be placed or assigned to any department within the Indian government, as well as any subsidiaries or joint ventures.
Age Relaxation criteria:
1, The maximum age restriction has been loosened by five years for SC and ST candidates, three years for OBCNC, ten years for UR candidates, thirteen years for OBCNC applicants, and fifteen years for SC/ST candidates.
2. Candidates who were born in Jammu & Kashmir between January 1, 1980, and December 31, 1989, are exempt from the maximum age restriction by five years.
3. Ex-servicemen and commissioned officers (including ECOs and SSCOs) are eligible for a maximum age relaxation of five years, provided they have served in the armed forces for at least five years and have met all other requirements set forth by the Indian government.
4. Applicants must be at least eighteen years old by the application deadline, which is April 30, 2025.
