The portal for registration and the online application form will be accessible from April 16, 2025, to May 15, 2025 (Please note that May 15, 2025, is the final date for submitting the Registered Online Application) for the recruitment of 02 positions for Assistant Director of Factories & Boilers in Group-A (JB) of the Odisha Factories and Boilers Inspection Service Cadre under the Labour & ESI Department, offering a pay scale of Rs. 56100/- in Level-12, Cell-1 of the pay matrix according to the ORSP Rules, 2017, along with the typical Dearness and other allowances that the Government may approve periodically. The examination will be held in accordance with the regulations set forth by the Odisha Factories and Boilers Inspection Service (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1984, as modified over time.

a) Candidates who submit an SEBC certificate issued more than three years before the date of their online application will not be eligible under the SEBC category.
b) Experience indicates that candidates frequently obtain an SEBC certificate prior to applying and upload it with their online application. However, there are instances where such certificates are later revoked. If the cancellation of a certificate is identified at any later stage, the candidacy of those individuals will be disqualified in that category.
c) The quantity of vacancies to be filled through this recruitment may change without prior notice by the Government, based on the demands of public service as determined by the State Government.
Method of selection for recruitment of Assistant Director under OPSC:
There shall be a Written Examination and Interview to be conducted by OPSC.
PLACE OF EXAMINATION:
The venue of the Written Examination for the posts of Assistant Director of Factories and Boilers will be located at Cuttack.
