Salary & Scale of Pay
Selected candidates will be compensated as per the 7th CPC:
- Professor: Academic Level 14 (Entry pay: ₹1,44,200/-).
- Associate Professor: Academic Level 13A (Entry pay: ₹1,31,400/-).
- Assistant Professor: Academic Level 10 (Entry pay: ₹57,700/-).
Eligibility Criteria
The qualifications are governed by UGC Regulations 2018.
1. Professor of Law
- Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
- At least 10 years of teaching or research experience at a University or National Level Institution.
2. Associate Professor of Law
- Ph.D. degree and a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching or research.
- At least 7 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
3. Assistant Professor (Law & Political Science)
- Master’s degree with 55% marks in the relevant subject (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD).
- Must have cleared NET (UGC/CSIR) or similar accredited tests like SLET/SET.
- Candidates with a Ph.D. awarded in accordance with UGC Regulations may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
