2. Eligibility Criteria for Recruitment at APEDA
Assistant General Manager (Agriculture)
- Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Food Technology, Veterinary Science, or related agricultural fields.
- Experience: At least five years of post-qualification experience in relevant fields.
Assistant General Manager (Finance)
- Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Finance/Financial Management, MBA (Finance), or Chartered Accountancy (ICAI).

3. Age Relaxation
Eligible candidates can claim relaxation in the upper age limit as follows:
- OBC: 3 years.
- PwD: 10 years.
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after deducting military service from actual age.
- APEDA Employees: 5 years (for those with at least 3 years of continuous service).
4. Selection Process for Recruitment at APEDA
The selection journey depends on the post you apply for:
- For AGM Posts: Selection involves a Written Test (100 marks) followed by an Interview (40 marks). The written test includes objective sections and a descriptive section from your chosen subject group.
- For Assistant Manager: A single Written Test (100 marks) consisting of objective questions and descriptive writing (Essay and Precis).
- Key Exam Rules:
- There is a 25% negative marking for wrong answers in objective sections.
- The qualifying mark for written tests is 60%.
- Tests will be held in Delhi NCR.
