| Selection Criteria | Selection will be based on Interview marks only (100 Marks). |
2. Dy. Marine Engineer (Class – I)

| Age Limit | 35 Years |
| Scale of Pay | Rs. 50,000–1,60,000/- |
| Essential Qualifications | 1. MOT II Class Motor Certificate issued under Merchant Shipping Act, 1958. 2. 02 years’ experience as independent Watch Keeping Engineer on board a foreign going ship. |
| Selection Criteria | Selection is based on a Written Test and Interview marks in the ratio of 90:10. The written test syllabus includes Marine Diesel Engines, Marine Auxiliaries, Tug operation and maintenance, Marine Electrical, Naval Architecture and General Ship Construction, and Safety Environment and Pollution Control. |
