🎓 Essential Eligibility Criteria for OUAT Bhubaneswar Recruitment
Candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications to apply:
- Bachelor’s Degree: Minimum 2nd Class Bachelor’s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks/equivalent OGPA.
- Master’s Degree: Minimum 2nd Class Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks/equivalent OGPA.
- NET Qualification: Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET).
- The NET/SLET/SET must be cleared in a related subject conducted by ICAR/UGC/CSIR/ICMR or any other similar bodies.
- NET-qualified candidates must also have one publication in a NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences) rated journal.
NET Exemption: Candidates holding a Ph.D. degree in the concerned subject with coursework as prescribed in the UGC Regulation, 2009, are exempted from the NET requirement. They must, however, have at least 02 (two) full-length publications with an NAAS rating of not less than 4 on the last date of application.

Selection Process for OUAT Bhubaneswar Recruitment
The selection process involves three main components, with a total score of 100:
- Academic Records (40% Weightage)
- Written Test (30% Weightage)
- Research Publication (10% Weightage)
- Viva-Voce / Interview (20% Weightage)
Shortlisted candidates (four times the number of advertised posts) will be called for the interview based on their score out of the first 80 points (Academic, Written Test, and Publication).
