OUAT Bhubaneswar is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of OUAT Bhubaneswar Recruitment 2025: Apply for Assistant Professor, Associate Professor & Professor positions in the department of Renewable Energy Engineering (REE) and Irrigation & Drainage Engineering (IDE), CAET. Remuneration
1. Professor: Cell-1. Level-14, Rs.1,44,200/- with usual DA & other allowance as admissible

3. Assistant professor: Cell-1. Level-10, Rs.57,700/- with usual DA & other allowance as admissible
Qualification & Experience
Professor (Renewable Energy Engineering): A bachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering with at least a second-class standing and at least 55% of mark.
A Master of Agricultural Engineering degree with a minimum of a second class, specializing in Renewable Energy Engineering, Farm Machinery, and Power Engineering, and earning at least 55% of marks.
A Ph.D. in the relevant field is required.
Ten (10) years of experience in teaching, research, or extension education (excluding the time spent pursuing a Ph.D., up to a maximum of three years), with at least three of those years spent in an Associate Professor or comparable position in the relevant field.
A noteworthy contribution to teaching, research, and extension, as evidenced by publications and innovations.
Professor(Irrigation & Drainage Engineering):A bachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering with at least a second class and at least 55% of the mark is required.
At least a second-class master’s degree in agricultural engineering, with a minimum of 55% of marks, and a focus on irrigation and drainage, water resources, water management, soil and water conservation, or land and water management.
A Ph.D. in the relevant field is required.
Ten (10) years of experience in teaching, research, or extension education, with at least three of those years spent in the position of Associate Professor or a comparable cadre in the relevant field (excluding the time spent pursuing a Ph.D., up to a maximum of three years).
A noteworthy contribution to teaching, research, and extension, as evidenced by publications and innovations.
Assistant professor(Renewable Energy Engineering): Minimum 2nd Class Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering with at least 55% marks/ equivalent OGPA.
Minimum 2nd Class Master’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering with specialization in Renewable Energy Engineering/ Farm Machinery & Power Engineering with at least 55 % marks/ equivalent OGPA.
The candidate must have cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) with one publication in NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences) rated journal.
Assistant professor(Irrigation & Drainage Engineering): Minimum 2nd Class Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering with at least 55% marks/ equivalent OGPA.
Minimum 2nd Class Master’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering with specialization in Irrigation & Drainage Engineering/ Water Resources Engineering/Water Management/Soil & Water Conservation Engineering/ Land and Water Management Engineering with at least 55 % marks/ equivalent OGPA.

Five (05) years’ experience in teaching/research/extension education in the concerned subject (Excluding the period spent on Ph.D. study subject to a maximum period of 03 years) in the rank of Assistant Professor/equivalent in the scale of 15,600-39,100/-with AGP 6000.
Significant contribution to research/ teaching/ extension as supported by publications/ innovations.
Associate Professor(Irrigation & Drainage Engineering):Minimum 2nd Class Bachelor’s Degree Agril. Engineering with at least 55% marks/equivalent grade point.
ii. Minimum 2nd Class Master’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering with specialization in Irrigation and Drainage Engineering/Water Resources Engineering / Water Management/ Soil and Water Conservation Engineering/Land and Water Management Engineering with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade point.
iii. Must have Ph.D. Degree in the concerned discipline.
iv. Five (05) years’ experience in teaching/ research/ extension education in the concerned subject (Excluding the period spent on Ph.D. study subject to a maximum period of 03 years) in the rank of Assistant Professor/equivalent in the scale of 15,600-39,100/-with AGP 6000.

A properly signed photocopy of the deposit receipt should be attached by the candidate to support the deposit-related paperwork. Other payment methods will not be accepted for the application fee.
