OHPC Recruitment 2025: ODISHA HYDRO POWER CORPORATION LTD (OHPC) has released notification on 19/05/2025 for the engagement of staffs for Project Hospital Bariniput Koraput on contractual basis.

OHPC invites applications from qualified candidates for the recruitment of Staff Nurse, Pharmacist and Dresser on contractual basis. The interested candidates are suggested to go through the following vacancy details before applying for positions.

Qualification & Eligibility
1. Staff Nurse(Male/Female): i) A candidate must have passed the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha’s +2 Science Examination or its equivalent.
ii) A B.Sc. in nursing or its equivalent, or a diploma in general nursing and midwifery, from any state medical college or hospital, or from any other accredited private institution that has been duly approved by the Indian Nursing Council and passed an exam administered by the Odisha Nursing Council.
iii) Must be registered with the Indian Nursing Council or the State Nursing Council as a registered nurse or registered nurse and midwife.
2. Pharmacist : i) A candidate must have passed the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha’s +2 Science Examination or its equivalent.
ii) A diploma in pharmacy or a B. Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy) from any state-run government medical college, hospital, or any accredited private institution that has been duly approved by A.I.C.T.E. and passed an exam administered by the Odisha Pharmacy Board is required.
iii)A candidate must have a valid registration certificate and have registered their name with the State’s Pharmacist Council.
3. Dresser: i) A candidate must have passed the Board of Secondary Education’s 10th Standard High School Certificate Examination, the Council of Higher Secondary Education’s +2 Examination, or an equivalent.
ii) Must have received First Aid training from the Indian Red Cross, St. John’s Ambulance Association, or another accredited organization at the federal or state level.
Age limit
The candidate must be at least 32 years old as of June 1, 2025, and no younger than 21. For candidates who are SEBC, SC, ST, or women, the upper age restriction is lowered by five years; for those who are PwD, it is lowered by zero years; and for ex-servicemen, it is lowered by the entire duration of their time in the armed forces.

Other eligibilities:

  1. Any applicant for a position must be an Indian citizen.
  2. The candidates’ names ought to have been listed in an Odisha employment exchange.
  3. In addition to being able to read, write, and speak Odia, a candidate must have passed the Middle School Examination with Odia as a language subject; passed the Matriculation or equivalent exam with Odia as the medium of examination in non-language subjects; passed the Class-VII or higher examination in Odia as a language subject from a school or educational institution approved by the Central Government or the Government of Odisha; or passed an Odia test in Middle English School Standard administered by the School & Mass Education Department.

General Instructions:

  1. The appointment will only be made on a contractual basis for a year after the appointee actually joins, and it won’t grant them any future claims or rights to permanent employment. In this regard, the appointee must sign an undertaking. After one year, though, the engagement term is probably going to be prolonged.
  2. Only the date of birth submitted in the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha’s High School Certificate Examination or an equivalent certificate from a recognized Board, Council, or Indian university would be accepted.
  3. Candidates with experience will be given preference.
  4. If you’re married, you can’t live with more than one spouse.
  5. During the interview, no TA or DA will be permitted.
  6. In compliance with the OHPC Accommodation Rules, rent-free lodging will be offered at UKHEP, Bariniput, contingent on the availability of quarters.
  7. A candidate shall be disqualified for engaging in any kind of campaigning.
  8. OHPC retains the right to remove or alter any portion of the advertisement without providing a justification. Additionally, it reserves the right to accept or reject any application without providing a justification.

How to apply:

Interested candidates who meet the aforementioned requirements may submit prescribed applications along with self-attested copies of all documents attesting to their age, qualifications, experience, caste, certificate of registration, and any no objection certificates from their current employer, among other things, and a recent passport-sized photo. The envelope should be addressed to the Unit Head, Upper Kolab Hydro Power Project (OHPC Ltd.), At/ po.-Bariniput, Dist.-Koraput, Odisha, PIN: 764006, and must be received by June 13, 2025. Applications submitted after June 13, 2025, for whatever reason, shall be rejected if they are incomplete or lack a signature.
