Vacancy Overview
NIFTEM-T is recruiting for two specific departments:
- Department of Food Safety and Quality Assurance (DFSQA): 1 Vacancy.
- Department of Food Process Technology (DFPT): 1 Vacancy.
- Remuneration: Rs. 42,000 + HRA as applicable.
Eligibility Criteria
- For DFSQA: M.Tech, M.Sc., or Ph.D. (4+2 year format) in various Food Science, Chemistry, or Engineering disciplines. Candidates with a 3-year UG + 2-year PG must have NET and 2 years of research experience.
- For DFPT: M.Tech, M.E., or M.Sc. (4+2 year format) in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or allied disciplines. A Ph.D. is desirable.
- Age Limit: Up to 35 years for men and 40 years for women as of the application deadline.
Roles and Responsibilities
Selected fellows will be involved in:
- Calibrating and maintaining food processing instruments.
- Supporting training programs, workshops, and technology transfer initiatives.
- Maintaining laboratory records, logbooks, and safety documentation.
- Providing technical support to faculty and students for experimental research.
