NIEPID Recruitment 2026: The National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (Divyangjan) (NIEPID) has released employment notice No. 02/2026. This autonomous body under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment is inviting applications for various regular and contract-based positions at its headquarters in Secunderabad and regional centres in Navi Mumbai, Noida, and Kolkata.
Available Vacancies for NIEPID Recruitment
1. Rehabilitation Officer (Regular)
- Scale of Pay: Level-7 (7th CPC)
- Age Limit: 45 years
- Essential Qualification: Post graduate degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or equivalent with DVTE (MR) / DVR (MR).
- Experience: Six years in vocational training and guidance for PwDs.
2. Accounts Officer (Regular)
- Scale of Pay: Level-7 (7th CPC)
- Age Limit: 45 years
- Essential Qualification: Degree from a recognized University.
- Experience: At least 5 years as a Section Officer or Junior Accounts Officer in Government or Public Undertakings.
3. Driver (Regular)
- Scale of Pay: Level-02 (7th CPC)
- Age Limit: 35 years
- Essential Qualification: 10th standard pass with a valid HMV driving license.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of driving experience and knowledge of motor mechanisms.
4. Catering Assistant (Regular)
- Scale of Pay: Level-02 (7th CPC)
- Age Limit: 30 years
- Essential Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years of catering experience in a Government or Non-Government establishment.
5. Deputy Director – Administration (Deputation/Contract)
- Salary: Level-12 (Deputation) or ₹1,22,000 per month (Contract).
- Age Limit: 55 years for Deputation; 56 years for Contract.
- Essential Qualification: Graduate Degree or Diploma in Personnel Management, Public Administration, or related fields.
- Experience: 10 years in personnel matters and office management, with 5 years in a senior administrative position.
