Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
- Lecturer: Post-Graduate degree in the relevant subject (minimum 2nd division) and B.Ed..
- Teacher: Graduate degree in the relevant subject (minimum 45%) and B.Ed.. Pass in Upper Primary TET is mandatory.
- Assistant Teacher: 12th Pass (minimum 45%) with D.Ed./D.El.Ed.. Pass in Primary TET is mandatory.
- Librarian: Graduate degree (minimum 2nd division) and B.Lib..
- Assistant Grade 02/03: 12th Pass and one-year Diploma in Computer. Typing speed of 8,000 (Grade 03) or 10,000 (Grade 02) key depressions per hour is required.
Age Limit (as of January 1, 2026)
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 35 years
- Relaxation: Age relaxations apply for SC/ST/OBC (up to 5 years), women (up to 10 years), and PWD candidates as per Chhattisgarh government rules.
Key Requirements
- Residency: Candidates must be residents of Chhattisgarh.
- Medium of Instruction: For English medium posts, candidates must have completed their entire education in English medium.
Selection Process for Government Narhardev English Medium HSS Kanker Recruitment
Selection will be based on a Merit List prepared from academic scores across 10th, 12th, Graduation, and Post-Graduation.
