1. Educational Qualification
The candidate should have completed +2 in Arts/Science/Commerce. Candidates having graduation degree will be advantageous.
Desirable: An equivalent experience in hostel management, computer proficiency, a certificate in nutrition, music, art, or extracurricular activities is preferred.
2. Age Limit
30 years or elder as of January 1, 2025
3. Remuneration
The selected Lady Matron will be paid consolidated salary of Rs.15,000 per month.
4. Other eligibilities
Candidate must fall within one of the ST, SC, or SEBC categories. In the event that no applicants are available from the ST or SC categories, the ST shall be given first preference, followed by the SC and, if neither is available, the SEBC. In the selection process, widows will be given priority, divorcees will be given second, and single-member family women will be given third.
5. Nature & Tenure of Engagement
Lady Matron will be hired on a temporary basis for a duration of one year, with the possibility of renewal at the end of the year if she performs satisfactorily.
6. Condition of Service
Since the District is the base unit for appointments, they can be moved to any of the District’s schools or hostels. Any scheme for regularizing services will not be available to the matron in this situation.
