Key Terms and Conditions

1. Contractual Nature: The engagement is purely on a part-time contractual basis until a regular teacher joins or the end of the academic session (2025-26), whichever is earlier.
2. Termination: The services of the contractual teacher can be terminated anytime if the performance is not satisfactory.
3. Remuneration:
   • No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
   • Payment will be calculated on a pro-rata basis (only for working days).
   • Teachers are not entitled to vacation pay during Autumn/Winter break.
   • Based on general KVS norms for ATL/Vocational Instructors, the consolidated remuneration is typically {₹}25,000/- per month, subject to KVS policy.
4. Registration: Mere registration does not guarantee the right to be empaneled or interviewed.
5. Requirement: Candidates must bring the duly filled Bio-Data Form (downloaded from the website) along with all supporting original and photocopies of documents at the time of registration.
6. Panel: The panel drawn will be valid only for the 2025-26 academic session. Selected candidates will be informed via phone or e-mail.

Role and Responsibilities

The Instructor will be responsible for:

• Conducting the teaching-learning process and organizing activities inside the ATL/Vocational Lab.
• Handholding students and preparing them for various events, exhibitions, and competitions.
• Assisting the Lab In-charge in the maintenance of assets.
• Providing technical support to students for Hackathon activities.

• PGT Physics: Physics / Electronics / Applied Physics / Nuclear Physics
• PGT Chemistry: Chemistry / Bio-Chemistry

2️⃣ Sports Coach (Lawn Tennis / Skating)

• B.P.Ed or Diploma in Coaching
• Participation at State/National level in respective games
• Prior coaching experience in Lawn Tennis / Skating desirable

3️⃣ Work Experience Teacher (WET)

• B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Electronics & Communication Engineering with 50% marks
• B.Ed. with at least 50% marks (NCTE recognized)
• Ability to teach in Hindi & English
• Working knowledge of Computer Applications

4️⃣ Vocational Teacher

Kendriya Vidyalaya Bhubaneswar Recruitment 2025: A walk-in interview is scheduled for 28.08.2025 at PM SHRI KV No. 5, Bhubaneswar, for the position of ATL Instructor on a purely part-time/contractual basis. Responsibilities of the ATL Instructor

a) Oversee the smooth functioning of the ATL Lab within the Vidyalaya.
b) Manage the lab and guide students in carrying out activities inside the ATL Lab.
c) Provide support and training to students during ATL Lab activities.
d) Ensure proper upkeep and maintenance of the ATL Lab.
e) Assist in organizing and supporting Hackathon-related activities.
f) Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the Principal.

Important information relating to PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Bhubaneswar Recruitment

i) No TA/DA will be provided to candidates attending the walk-in interview.
ii) Attending the interview does not guarantee contractual appointment. Such part-time contractual appointments will depend on the availability of vacancies. Instructors engaged on this basis will not have any claim for regular employment, nor will they be included in the permanent teaching cadre of Kendriya Vidyalaya.
iii) A part-time contractual Instructor will remain appointed until the end of the academic session or as decided by the competent authority. However, the services of such instructors may be terminated at any time if their performance is found unsatisfactory.
iv) Instructors hired on a contractual basis will not be eligible for vacation pay, and remuneration during the Autumn/Winter break will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.
