Jalasathi Recruitment at Balangir Municipality 2026: The Balangir Municipal Council is inviting applications from Mission Shakti Group members for 09 (nine) Jalasathi positions. This incentive-based role focuses on community water management and revenue collection.
Eligibility Requirement for Jalasathi Recruitment at Balangir Municipality
- Age: 18 to 45 years.
- SHG Membership: Must be an active member of a Mission Shakti Group for at least 2 years.
- Education: Minimum 10th Class pass.
- Tools: Personal smartphone and a bank passbook with an ATM card.
- Financials: Ability to pay a ₹10,000 refundable security deposit for an MPOS machine.
Earnings & Incentives
- Revenue Collection: 7.5% of the total monthly water tax collected.
- Water Testing: ₹200 per test (Minimum 20 tests/month).
- New Connections: ₹100 for domestic and up to ₹1,000 for commercial connections.
- Early Support: A minimum of ₹3,000/month is guaranteed for the first 3 months (subject to visiting 200 households) plus an additional ₹1,000/month for awareness work.
