Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
1. Educational & Professional Qualifications
- Education: Must have passed the 10th Standard.
- Driving License: Possession of a valid driving license for motor cars.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in driving a motor car.
- Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of motor mechanism (ability to remove minor defects in the vehicle).
- Desirable: 3 years of service as a Home Guard or Civil Volunteer.
2. Service Requirements (Deputation)
Candidates must be regular Dispatch Riders (Group ‘C’) or regular Group ‘C’ employees in Level 1 (Rs. 18,000 – 56,900) from:
- Central Government
- State Government
- Union Territories
- Other Ministries of the Central Government
3. Armed Forces Personnel
Armed Forces Personnel who are due to retire or transfer to reserve within one year and possess the required qualifications are also eligible. They will be appointed on deputation terms until their release date, followed by continued re-employment.
Age Limit & Tenure
- Maximum Age: Not exceeding 56 years as of the closing date of applications.
- Deputation Period: Initially for 03 years, with the possibility of extension based on requirements and NOC from the parent department.
