Eligibility Criteria

- Master’s Degree: Relevant subject in the Agriculture faculty with at least 55% marks (or equivalent 6.50/10.00 scale) and a good academic record.
- NET Qualification: National Eligibility Test (NET) is compulsory along with one publication in a NAAS-rated referred journal.
- NET Exemption: Exemption is provided for Ph.D. holders (completed with course work as per UGC Regulations 2009) who have at least two full-length publications with a NAAS rating of not less than 4.0.
Honorarium and Remuneration
Monthly pay is determined by the candidate’s highest qualification:
- Ph.D. Holders: 1,800/- INR per working day (Maximum 40,000/- INR per month).
- NET Qualified (Without Ph.D.): 1,500/- INR per working day (Maximum 36,000/- INR per month).
- Without Ph.D. and NET: 1,200/- INR per working day (Maximum 26,000/- INR per month).
- Note: No other allowances or facilities are applicable beyond the honorarium.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 40 years.
- Relaxation: 5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and women candidates as per Chhattisgarh Government rules (Maximum age not to exceed 45 years).
