Walk-In-Interview for Consultant-Technical (Civil Engineering)
The ICMR-Regional Medical Research Centre, Bhubaneswar (ICMR-RMRCBB), under the Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, intends to engage one Consultant-Technical (Civil Engineering) purely on a temporary contract basis to support Capital works at ICMR-RMRC, Bhubaneswar.

Compensation and Age Limit
- Consolidated Fee/Remuneration: The position offers a consolidated fee of Rs. 1,00,000/-.
- Age Limit: The minimum age is 40 years and the maximum age is 70 years as of the last date of receipt of the application.
Essential Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following sets of requirements:
Option 1: Professionals
- Must be a professional with proven competency and success in their area of specialization.
- Must possess a minimum qualification of B.Tech/BE (Civil Engineering) or equivalent in the relevant subject.
- Must have at least 10 years of post-qualification experience.
Option 2: Retired Government Employees
- Must be a retired Government Employee with the requisite qualification.
- Must have been in the regular Pay Level-10 and above.
- Must have at least 10 years’ experience in the required specialization (Civil Engineering).
Experience Notes
- A PhD will be considered equivalent to 4 years’ experience, regardless of the time taken to complete the degree.
- MPH/M.Tech/ME/M.Pharma will not be considered as experience for this position.

- PhD will be considered as 4 years’ experience (irrespective of the duration taken to complete the degree).
- MPH/M.Tech/ME/M.Pharma will not be considered as any experience.
Interview and Venue Details for ICMR RMRC Bhubaneswar Recruitment
Candidates are invited to attend a walk-in interview on 3rd November, 2025 (Monday) at 10 A.M onwards.
- Venue: ICMR-Regional Medical Research Centre, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar-751023, Odisha, India.
Candidates are advised to arrive on time with a filled-in application form and original documents for verification to ensure they meet the essential eligibility criteria. Only those fulfilling the criteria after verification will be eligible for the interview.
General Terms and Conditions- ICMR RMRC Bhubaneswar Recruitment 2025
- The position is temporary and on a contract basis.
- Initial engagement will be for one year, extendable based on satisfactory performance and the requirement of services.
- The rates of emoluments/remuneration are consolidated.
- The cut-off date for the age limit will be as of the date of the walk-in-interview. Note: The maximum age limit states ‘on the last date of receipt of the application’ , which may be superseded by the general term.
- Qualification and experience must be in the relevant discipline/field and from an institution of repute.
- Experience should have been gained after acquiring the minimum essential qualification.
- Mere fulfillment of the essential qualification does not guarantee selection.
- Persons already in regular time scale service under any Government Department/Organizations are not eligible to apply.
- No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview/personal discussion; candidates must arrange their own transport/accommodation.
- ICMR-RMRC, Bhubaneswar reserves the right to consider, reject any application/candidature, or terminate the Consultant position.
- Submission of wrong or false information will disqualify the candidature at any stage.
- Leave is as per the ICMR’s policy for Consultant human resource positions.
