Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility varies based on the post and the nature of the appointment (Contract, Deputation, or Post-superannuation).
1. Chief General Manager / General Manager (Signaling)
- Education: Graduate in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronics/ Communication/ Instrumentation or related fields) from a recognized University.
- Experience: * CGM: Minimum 20 years of post-qualification executive experience (23 years for private sector).
- GM: Minimum 17 years of post-qualification executive experience (20 years for private sector).
- Relevant Experience: Must have at least 10 years of experience in Signaling/PSD systems.
- Maximum Age: 57 years (Contract), 58 years (Deputation), or 62 years (Post-superannuation).
2. Deputy General Manager (Safety O&M)
- Education: B.E/B. Tech in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering PLUS a full-time Diploma in Industrial Safety.
- Experience: * Govt/PSU: Minimum 8 years of post-qualification executive experience (6 years relevant).
- Private: Total 10 years of post-qualification executive experience (6 years relevant).
- Maximum Age: 45 years (Contract), 58 years (Deputation), or 62 years (Post-superannuation).
3. Assistant Manager (Traction)
- Education: B.E / B. Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Experience: * PSU/Metro: 5 years of experience.
- Private: Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience.
- Maximum Age: 35 years.
Selection Process for Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation Recruitment
The selection will be conducted through the following stages:
- Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.
- Document Verification: To be completed before the interview.
- Medical Examination: As per the prescribed category for the post.
General Conditions
- Reckoning Date: Age and experience will be calculated as of March 17, 2026.
