Gangadhar Meher University is seeking qualified candidates to serve as teaching faculty on a temporary contractual basis for the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP), in line with NCTE norms. Selection will be made through walk-in interviews as per the schedule below.

1. Assistant Professor – Foundation of Education
- No. of Posts: 03
- Essential Qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree in a relevant subject with at least 55% marks
- M.Ed. with a minimum of 55% marks
- NET or Ph.D. in Education
- Honorarium: ₹40,000/- (₹45,000/- for Ph.D. holders)
2. Assistant Professor – Pedagogy of Botany
- No. of Posts: 01
- Essential Qualifications:
- M.Sc. in Botany with minimum 55% marks
- B.Ed. with at least 55% marks
- NET or Ph.D. (M.Ed. desirable)
- Honorarium: ₹40,000/- (₹45,000/- for Ph.D. holders)
3. Assistant Professor – Pedagogy of Odia
- No. of Posts: 01
- Essential Qualifications:
- M.A. in Odia with minimum 55% marks
- B.Ed. with at least 55% marks
- NET or Ph.D. (M.Ed. desirable)
- Honorarium: ₹40,000/- (₹45,000/- for Ph.D. holders)
4. Associate Professor – Education
- No. of Posts: 01
- Essential Qualifications:
- M.A./M.Sc. with at least 55% marks
- M.Ed. with minimum 55% marks
- Ph.D. in Education/any pedagogical subject
- Minimum 8 years of teaching experience in Secondary Teacher Education Institutions
- Honorarium: ₹70,000/-
👉 Preference will be given to candidates possessing both Ph.D. and M.Ed. qualifications.
