Essential Qualifications
Candidates must have the following essential qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Economics/Applied Economics OR a Two-Year Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course in Economics from an NCERT Regional College of Education.
- The degree must be secured with at least 60% marks.
- You must have studied the subject (Economics) as Honours or Pass at the Graduation level from a recognized University with at least 60% marks in the subject.
- A B.Ed. Degree from an NCTE-recognized University is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Teaching in English Medium is a must.
Desirable Qualifications
Having these qualifications will be a plus:
- Knowledge of Computer Application.
- Experience of teaching in a CBSE/ICSE School.
Age Limit
- The applicant should not be more than 40 years old as of November 1, 2025.
- Age may be relaxed for suitable in-service candidates.
