- These posts carry usual allowances i.e., Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA) etc. as admissible to the Central Government employees and as made applicable to CSIR employees at the place of posting.

Age Limit & Relaxations
- The upper age limit shall be relaxed by 05 years for Scheduled Caste [SC]/ Scheduled Tribe [ST] and 03 years for Other Backward Class [OBC (NCL)], as per Government orders in force, only in respect of those cases where the posts/ vacancies are reserved for respective categories.
- SC/ST/OBC (NCL) candidates who apply against the posts not reserved for them i.e. Unreserved (UR) posts will not be eligible for age relaxation and they will be treated at par with general candidates in respect of their selection.
- Upper age limit is also relaxable up to five years for the departmental candidates.

Quick General Conditions relating to CSIR IMMT Bhubaneswar Recruitment
- The applicant must be a citizen of India.
- All the above posts are tenable at CSIR – IMMT, Bhubaneswar. The project staff may be required to travel and stay at different places outside Bhubaneswar as per the need of the project.
- The engagement is temporary and shall be co-terminus with the tenure of the project or 06 years (total period of engagement under one project and/or combination of different projects), whichever is earlier. Further, such engagement, directly or indirectly, shall not provide any right/claim for regularization for permanent post of CSIR.
- Result awaiting candidates are not eligible for apply.
- The relaxation in the age limit for SC/ST/PwBD/Women is 05 years and for OBC is 03 years or as per Govt. of India instructions.
- Unless otherwise mentioned, equivalent/higher degrees shall not be considered as essential qualification for any position.
- The project personnel are entitled to avail leaves as per extant rules of CSIR, i.e., 12 days of leave (at the rate of one day leave per month).
