Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification & Experience
- Head/Senior/Junior Assistant: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Head and Senior Assistant roles require 3 years of relevant experience. All require a typing speed of 35 wpm with 90% accuracy.
- Semi-Professional Assistant: Master’s in Library Science (55% marks) OR Bachelor’s in Library Science with 2 years of experience.
- Hostel Warden: Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management (55%) with 2 years of experience OR any Bachelor’s degree with a Diploma in Hotel Management and 2 years of experience.
- Laboratory Assistant: Bachelor’s degree (55%) with the relevant subject (Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Zoology).
- Laboratory/Library Bearer: 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.
2. Age Limit (as of 05-04-2026)
- Minimum: 18 years.
- Maximum (General): 40 years.
- Maximum (Reserved Categories): 43 years.
- Maximum (PWD): 42 years.
- Maximum (In-service candidates): 50 years.
Selection Procedure for Cluster University of Srinagar Recruitment
The selection for all notified posts will be based on the merit obtained in a written examination (100 marks).
- Skill Test: For Assistant roles (Head, Senior, and Junior), candidates must also qualify for a mandatory typing skill test.
- Qualifying Mark: Candidates must score at least 50% in the written exam to qualify for the skill test.
- Call Ratio: For posts requiring a skill test, candidates will be called in a 1:10 ratio.
