OR Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and also in aggregate. The electives subjects and Languages in the combination of subjects as under: (For TGT(S.ST): Any two of the following-History, Geography, Economics and Political Science of which one must be either History or Geography.) 2) B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognized university. 3) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. 3) Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English medium Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications. Relaxation in CTET: In the absence of CTET qualified candidate, candidate may be considered if otherwise eligible as per KVS recruitment rules. Duties of Contractual Teachers: Teachers engaged on contractual basis will discharge the following duties: a) Regular classroom activity & Copy Checking. b) Invigilation Duty & Evaluation work. c) Helping students and colleagues in preparation and organization of different curricular / Co-curricular activities in the Vidyalaya. d) All other works assigned by the principal. REMUNERATION: Post Remuneration TGT (Social Science) Rs.26250/- Per Month (Consolidated) Important Instructions for eligible and interested candidates relating to Kendriya Vidyalaya Burla Sambalpur Recruitment:- Engagement of Part time contractual teachers/staff will be governed by KVS norms only. Qualification & Subject Combination for the post of Trained Graduate Teacher i) NO TA/DA shall be paid for appearing in walk-in-interview. ii) Appearing in interview does not confer the right to appointment on contractual basis. Part-time contractual engagement will be done in case any such vacancy arises or when teachers proceed on long leave. Teachers engaged on contractual basis, would have no claim or right for appointment on a regular basis nor will they be a part of the cadre of teachers of Kendriya Vidyalaya. iii) The part-time contractual teachers will be engaged till such time the regular teacher joins or the end of the academic session, whichever is earlier. Contrary to the above the services of a part time contractual teacher can be terminated any time if his/her performance is not upto the mark. iv) Teachers engaged on contractual basis will not be entitled for vacation pay, and during Autumn / Winter Break, payment shall be calculated on pro rata basis. v) Teachers engaged on contractual basis will not be entitled for pay, if they remain absent on working days. In case of absence from duty, payment will be calculated on pro rata basis. vi) The panel drawn on the basis of interview will be valid for one academic session (2025-26) only.
