🎓 ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
🔹 Option A: Master’s Degree + NET/Ph.D.
- Master’s Degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science (or allied subject) with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwD).
- Candidate must also fulfill one of the following:
- Cleared UGC/CSIR-NET or equivalent exam (SLET/SET), OR
- Awarded Ph.D. degree under UGC Regulations 2009/2016 (or later).
Special Exemption (Ph.D. registered before 11 July 2009): Candidates exempted from NET/SLET/SET if—
- Ph.D. awarded in regular mode
- Thesis evaluated by two external examiners
- Open viva conducted
- At least two publications from Ph.D. work (one in refereed journal)
- At least two conference/seminar presentations (UGC/ICSSR/CSIR funded)
(Must be certified by the Registrar/Dean of the awarding university.)
Note: NET/SLET/SET not required for subjects where such exams are unavailable.
🔹 Option B: International Ph.D.
- Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked among the Top 500 globally (as per QS/THE/ARWU rankings).

- Shortlisting: Based on academic score (UGC Appendix II, Table 3B).
- Final Selection: Based solely on interview performance.

📜 GENERAL CONDITIONS
- Interview expenses are to be borne by candidates (no TA/DA).
- Original documents must be produced during interview.
- SC/ST applicants must submit valid Odisha Govt. caste certificate.
- In-service applicants must arrange for CCR/Performance Appraisal Reports (last 5 years) to reach the Director at least 5 days before interview.
- Experience certificates must be issued on institutional letterhead with dates, designation, and issuing authority.
- Selected candidates must join duty within one month of appointment unless permitted otherwise.
- Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
- The Institute reserves the right to shortlist, reject, or cancel the recruitment process.
- Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate.
