AIIMS Bhubaneswar Recruitment 2025: All India Institute of Medical Sciences(AIIMS) Bhubaneswar has released notification on 14/05/2025 for the engagement of Junior Resident -Non Academic on contractual basis.

AIIMS Bhubaneswar is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the recruitment of Junior Resident -Non Academic on contractual basis through walk-in-interview. The interested candidates are suggested to go through the following vacancy details before applying for the post.

Educational Qualification
MBBS from an MCl-recognized institution. The applicant must present an internship completion certificate and registration under any state MCI, as well as proof of completion of the required internship.

Remuneration
The entry salary for Level 10 of the salary Matrix (pre-revised Pay Band-3, Rs. 15600/- + 5400 (GP)) is Rs. 56,100/- per month plus any regular allowances that are allowed.

Tenure
Contract Period is 06 (six) months (maximum three terms* are allowed).

Leave
On a pro rata basis, junior residents (non-academic) are granted 2.5 leaves for each month of duty. No additional leave or compensation is permitted.

Selection Process:

Based on the candidate’s performance during the interview, the merit list (both the waiting list and the selected list) will be created.
If there is a vacancy due to a candidate’s resignation or non-joining from this selection, the position will be awarded to waiting list candidates based on merit. The waiting list will remain in effect for two months after the final interview results are announced. For quicker communication, all applicants must include their phone number, mobile number, and email address.

1) General/ OBC Category : Rs. 1500/- with transaction charges as applicable.
2) EWS / SC/ST Category : Rs. 1200/- with transaction charges as applicable.
3) PWBD Category : No application Fees

Payment to be made to AIIMS, Bhubaneswar Account through any mode of online transaction i.e. UPI, NEFT, RTGS or IMPS only.

Terms and Conditions:

Candidates will only be taken into consideration if they have completed MBBS coursework, including internships, no more than three (3) years before to the start date of junior residency (non-academic).
If chosen, OCMR registration is required following joining.
Even if they otherwise meet the requirements, candidates who entered Junior Residency (Non-Academic) at the AIIMS and whose services were terminated due to unapproved absence or any other disciplinary reason would not be eligible to apply for these JR (NA) positions.
JR’s tenure (term) is six months (non-academic). No matter how long a candidate works, any time they join and leave the JR position, it will be considered one term. The candidate or candidates must submit their applications separately for each term.
A maximum of three recruitment terms are permitted for all qualified applicants.
Candidates who have completed three terms of non-academic junior residency at AIIMS or elsewhere shall not be taken into consideration. Junior Residency (Non-Academic) will be equated with experience in Army Services, Central Health Services, Private Nursing Homes, and Private Practice.
The appointee will be entitled to the compensation specified under the appointment.
Unless the responsible HOD recommends a renewal for a maximum of two terms, the contract will automatically terminate after six months. The Institute may end the contractual appointment at any time by giving either party one month’s notice or by paying one month’s salary in lieu of notice.
The Competent Authority retains the authority to change the number of openings, cancel the procedure entirely or in part, and reject any or all applications without providing a reason or prior notification, among other things.
Private practice of any kind is forbidden, and this post is full-time.
He or she will be required to work in shifts and may be assigned to any location on rotation, including the Institute’s Trauma & Emergency Medicine.
He or she should also be aware that they will need to abide by the conduct and discipline guidelines that apply to Institute workers.
The candidate will not get any travel or other benefits in exchange for attending the interview or accepting the position.
No court of law should have found the candidate guilty.
Any kind of canvassing will disqualify the applicant for the position.
The candidate may be dismissed from service and subject to any other measures the appointing authority may see appropriate if any of the statements or information they provided turns out to be untrue or if they are discovered to have willfully concealed any important information.
The Competent Authority’s decision to choose the candidate will be final, and no appeals will be accepted. The Selection Committee’s choice will be final and enforceable.
Candidates employed by the government, semi-government, or PSU are required to present a “No Objection Certificate” from their workplace. If the employer’s objection certificates are not presented, the candidates will not be allowed to attend the interview.
Attending the interview will not result in any TA/DA compensation. Under no circumstances will application fees be reimbursed once they have been submitted.

The candidate may apply for up to three positions (out of the enlisted departments stated above), but they must apply for those positions and departments separately. The applicant must, however, pay the application cost for each position separately.
