Qualification

Candidates must have Post Graduation aggregate with B.Ed.. Specifically, for each PGT post, the required qualification is:

  • 50% marks in Post Graduation aggregate with B.Ed..

Eligibility Criteria (for Class XI and XII)

  • Education: Post Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with B. Ed..
  • Preference: Shall be given to retired teachers and candidates who have teaching experience
  • Age Limit: The maximum age at the time of engagement shall be Sixty-Two (62). A retired teacher engaged as a Guest Teacher shall be disengaged upon attaining the age of sixty-five (65).

💰 Honorarium details for Guest Teacher Recruitment Gajapati District

A Guest Teacher will be paid Rs. 400/- per class/period at the higher secondary level.

  • A Guest Teacher shall take a maximum of forty (40) classes in a month.
  • The total monthly honorarium shall not exceed Rs. 16,000/-.
  • No TA/DA will be allowed at the time of “Walk-in Interview”/certificate verification.

📝 Mode of Selection for Guest Teacher Recruitment Gajapati District

The selection committee will select candidates based on the eligibility criteria and the following norms (Total 100 marks):

  • Career Weightage (50% / 50 Marks):
    • 1st division: 50 marks
    • 2nd division with minimum 50% marks: 30 marks
  • Teaching Experience (30% / 30 Marks):
    • 1 year: 10 marks
    • 2 years: 20 marks
    • 3 years and above: 30 marks (Maximum limit)
    • (Note: Ten (10) months of teaching experience should be treated as a year).
  • Interview (20% / 20 Marks).

If candidates score equal marks, the candidate scoring a higher percentage of marks in B. Ed will get preference. A panel of candidates securing 50 or above marks will be prepared for engagement.
