Recruitment of guest teachers in Gajapati District, Odisha, for schools under the ST & SC Development (SSD) Department.
Application in prescribed form are invited from the candidates for hiring of guest teacher having qualification MCT with 50% marks in Graduation and 50% marks in aggregate with CT for Educational institution in different High schools and Ashram School/ Sevashrams of ST & SC Development Department of Gajapati District. Preference shall be given to the retired teachers and candidates who having teaching experience.

- Retired Teacher Disengagement Age: Sixty-Five (65)
Honorarium (Salary) details for Ashram School Recruitment Gajapati
- Payment Per Class/Period: Rs. 300/- at secondary and higher secondary level.
- Maximum Monthly Payment: Not exceeding Rs. 12,000/- in a month.
- Maximum Classes Per Month: A guest teacher shall make a maximum of forty (40) classes in a month.
- No extra honorarium will be given for correction and evaluation work

Selection Process for Ashram School Recruitment Gajapati
The selection will be based on the following norms and a Walk-in-Interview:

- Career Marks: 1st division = 50 marks, 2nd division with minimum 50% marks = 30 marks.
- Experience Marks: 1 year = 10 marks, 2 years = 20 marks, 3 years and above = 30 marks (Ten months treated as a year).
- Candidates must score 50 or above marks in the selection process to be empaneled.
- Tie-Breaker: Candidate scoring a higher percentage of marks in CT will get preference.
- Candidates must submit applications at least two days before the fixed date for the walk-in-interview.
Terms and Conditions for Ashram School Recruitment Gajapati
- The engagement is temporary; guest teachers will have no claim for regular appointment.
- Engagement ends automatically once a regular/contractual teacher is appointed against the vacant post or as decided by the authority.
- The teacher’s performance will be reviewed regularly, and they can be disengaged for non-performance or misconduct.
- Unauthorized absence for a continuous period of 15 days or more will result in deemed termination, and the teacher shall not be entertained further.
- No TA/DA will be allowed for the interview/certificate verification.
