Essential Qualifications for TGT (Mathematics)
Candidates must meet one of the following academic criteria AND the mandatory additional criteria:
Academic Qualifications (Any One):
- Four Years Integrated Degree Course from NCET recognized institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject (Mathematics) as well as in the aggregate, including B.Ed. component.
- Bachelor/Honors Degree from a recognized institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject (Mathematics) and in the aggregate. AND B.Ed. Degree or three-year integrated B.Ed./M.Ed. from NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks.
- Note: Candidates with B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics or Chemistry are not eligible if they do not have Mathematics as a subject in all three years for TGT (Maths.).
- Post Graduation in the concerned subject/any specialization with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade, provided the candidate has studied the concerned subject(s) mentioned in the note below at the graduation level and three years integrated B.Ed., from NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks.
Mandatory Additional Criteria for PM Shri JNV Khatiguda Nabarangpur Recruitment
- CTET: Qualified the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (Paper-II) conducted by the Government of India.
- Competence: Competence to teach through English and Hindi.
- TGT (Mathematics) Specifics: Must have studied Mathematics as Elective/Main Subject in at least three years/six semesters in graduation/four years integrated degree course.
- Must have studied Physics at least 01 year/02 semesters.
- Must have studied one out of Chemistry, Electronics, Computer, Science, Statistics at least 01 year/02 semester.
Desirable Qualifications for PM Shri JNV Khatiguda Nabarangpur Recruitment
- Experience in a residential school.
- Knowledge of computer application.
- Knowledge of regional languages.
