OAV Hatiota Ganjam Recruitment notification has been issued to fill up the posts of Boys Hostel of the Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya, Hatiota. As per the guidelines the applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following posts for engagement in different categories of post in Boys Hostel of the Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya, Hatiota (Polosara) of Ganjam District to start functioning in 2025-26. Posts will be filled up by the eligible candidate through a selection process headed by the Collector-cum-Chairman, OAVs, Ganjam on merit basis /experience basis & interview as indicated against the posts.

Duration of the engagement: For one year
On expiry of one year period of contractual engagement the fresh contractual engagement shall be made with a gap of at least one working day basing on the satisfactory performance of the employee
Available Positions and Requirements
1. Warden
No. of Post: 1/Male
Age: 30 to 60 years.
Qualification: The minimum educational qualification is a B.A./B.Sc.
Remuneration: Consolidated monthly remuneration is 21,175/-..
Selection Process: The selection process is based on Career Marking percentage.
Preference: Preference is given to local candidates, preferably from the block area where the hostel is located, or from other blocks of the district if local candidates are unavailable. An in-service male teacher of OAV willing to take on the duty may be paid an honorarium of Rs.3000/ in addition to his salary, but must stay in the hostel at night. Retired male teachers, physically and mentally sound, up to 62 years of age may also be engaged.
2. Chowkidar-cum-sweeper
No. of Post: 1/Male
Age: 21 to 32 years
Qualification: The qualification is HSC.
Remuneration: Consolidated monthly remuneration is 7,500/-.
Selection Process: Selection is based on Matric marking percentage.
3. Head Cook
No. of Post: 1/Male
Age: 30 to 40 years
Qualification: Candidates must have cooking experience, though a higher qualification is no bar.
Remuneration: Consolidated monthly remuneration is 9,000/-.
Selection Process: Selection is based on Experience & Interview
Preference: Preference is given to local candidates where the hostel is located; otherwise, blocks will be taken as a unit. Candidates should be well conversant with the use of LPG
4. Assistant Cook
No. of Post: 1/Male
Age: 21 to 30 years
Qualification: Candidates must have cooking experience, with higher qualification not being a bar.
Remuneration: Consolidated monthly remuneration is 6,750/-.
Selection Process: Selection is based on Experience & Interview
Preference: Preference is given to local candidates where the hostel is located; otherwise, blocks will be taken as a unit. Candidates should be well conversant with the use of LPG
