Hiring of Legal Expert (Temporary Engagement)
The Sambalpur Forest Division is looking for a Legal Expert to support our work in handling forest and wildlife offence cases. This is a temporary role with a fixed monthly remuneration of ₹50,000/- (inclusive of GST, EPF, ESI, and service fees).

- Position: Legal Expert (01 post)
- Tenure: 6 months (may be extended depending on performance and funds)
- Salary: ₹50,000/- per month (all inclusive)
- Age Limit: Not more than 50 years as on the interview date
Eligibility
- Must have: LL.B degree (LL.M preferred) from a recognized university/institution
- Mandatory: Enrollment with State Bar Council as an Advocate
- Experience: At least 2 years handling criminal cases in subordinate courts
- Desirable: Experience with forest/wildlife offence cases
Role & Responsibility
- Represent Sambalpur Forest Division in court for forest and wildlife cases
- Provide legal advice on departmental issues and higher court matters
- Prepare prosecution reports, petitions, legal documents, replies, and briefs
- Coordinate with Government Counsels/Prosecutors when required
Working Terms relating to Sambalpur Forest Division Recruitment
- Work hours: Regular office timings; may need to work beyond hours or on off-days if required
- Leave: 15 days of casual leave per year (with prior approval)
- Termination: Either party can end the engagement with one month’s notice
- Confidentiality: No case records or data may be shared without prior approval
