📌 Walk-in-interview for Contractual teachers

PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya, Gajapati, will conduct a walk-in-interview on 24.09.2025 (Wednesday) to prepare a panel of teachers in different subjects. Selected candidates will be engaged on a part-time/contractual/daily-need basis against leave vacancies or clear vacancies during the academic year 2025–26.

📂 Essential qualifications

🔹 PGT Chemistry

• Master’s Degree in Chemistry / Bio-Chemistry with at least 50% marks OR Two-year Integrated M.Sc. from RIE of NCERT.
• B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
• Ability to teach in both Hindi and English.

🔹 PGT Biology

• Master’s Degree in Botany / Zoology / Life Science / Bio-Science / Genetics / Microbiology / Molecular Biology / Plant Physiology with 50% marks (must have studied Botany & Zoology at graduation level) OR Two-year Integrated M.Sc. from RIE of NCERT.
• B.Ed. or equivalent degree.
• Competence to teach in Hindi and English.

🔹 PRT Music

• Senior Secondary/Intermediate with 50% marks OR equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Music from a recognized university.
• Competence to teach in English and Hindi.
• Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.

🔹 Vocational instructor (Art & Craft and other trades)

• Senior Secondary/Intermediate with 50% marks OR equivalent.
• Degree/Diploma in Art/Craft or vocational skill (carpentry, tailoring, pottery making, plumbing, jewellery making, book binding).
• Ability to teach through English and Hindi.
• Preference: Experienced candidates.
• Desirable: Computer literacy.

⚠️ Note: Candidates with Special B.Ed. are not eligible for PGT posts.

🏆 Selection process for PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Gajapati Recruitment

The selection will be conducted in three phases:

1. Document verification (08:00 AM – 09:00 AM).
2. Personal interview & demonstration: Evaluation of subject knowledge, communication skills, and teaching ability.
3. Preparation of merit panel: Based on qualification, experience, and interview performance.

Only candidates included in the approved panel will be engaged on a need basis during 2025–26.

💰 Remuneration (as per KVS guidelines)

• PGT (Biology & Chemistry): ₹27,500/- per month
• PRT Music: ₹21,250/- per month
• Vocational instructor (Art & Craft and other trades): ₹25,000/- per month

⚖️ General instructions

1. Maximum age limit for all contractual posts is 65 years as on 31.03.2025.
2. Engagement is purely temporary and contractual for the session only.
3. The selected candidates may be engaged against clear or leave vacancies as per school requirements.
4. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
5. Candidates must ensure that all information and documents are genuine. In case of any discrepancy, candidature will be rejected.
6. The Vidyalaya reserves the right to cancel or modify the selection process without prior notice.
