The Government ITI, Balangir, invites applications from eligible candidates for Guest Instructor positions in various trades for the academic session 2025–26. The empanelment will be finalized after approval by DTE&T, Odisha, Cuttack.
Applicants must attend the interview in person with their academic, professional, and experience records.

Guest instructors are required in the following areas:
- Electronics Mechanic
- Solar Technician
- COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant)
- Mechanic Motor Vehicle
- Draughtsman Civil
- Draughtsman Civil Mechanic
- Pump Operator-cum-Mechanic
- Welder
- Wireman
🔹 Minimum qualification (as per DGE&T norms)
- B.Voc / Degree / Diploma in the relevant discipline, or
- NTC/NAC certificate in the respective trade, or
- Engineering qualification from AICTE/UGC/NCVT recognized college or university
👉 Candidates with teaching/industrial experience will be preferred:
- Degree holders: Minimum 1 year experience
- Diploma holders: Minimum 2 years experience
- NTC/NAC holders: Minimum 3 years experience

🏆 Selection process for Recruitment at Govt ITI Balangir
The selection will be carried out in two stages:
- Demonstration class:
- Applicants must present a short teaching session covering both theory and practical topics of their trade
- Evaluation will focus on clarity of explanation, practical knowledge, and communication skills
- Experience assessment:
- Candidates with CITS (Craft Instructor Training Scheme) or RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) qualifications will be given preference
- Previous teaching or relevant industry experience will strengthen the candidature
A merit list will be prepared based on qualification, teaching demonstration, and experience. Only shortlisted/empanelled candidates will be considered for actual engagement.
⚖️ Terms & conditions
- This engagement is part-time, purely temporary, and need-based
- Payment will be made on an hourly class basis, as approved by the Government
- This process does not guarantee regular or contractual appointment
- The engagement may be terminated if performance is unsatisfactory or services are no longer required
- If any documents are found invalid or forged, the candidate’s appointment will be cancelled immediately
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview
- Any disputes will be under the jurisdiction of the District Court, Bolangir
