Terms & Conditions
- Contractual teachers have no claim for regularization.
- No vacation pay during breaks (payment on pro-rata basis).
- Duties same as regular teachers (teaching, invigilation, evaluation, co-curricular activities).
- Unauthorized absence of 15 days = termination.
- Engagement ends once a regular teacher is posted.
- Retired teachers disengaged at age 65 (unless extended by District Education Officer).
- Eligible for 10 days of special leave per year.
- Travel allowance and daily allowance admissible for official duty.
Validity of Panel
- Valid for one year, renewable based on district requirements.
Special Provisions
- Relaxation in B.Ed.: Candidates with PG (60% in Science/55% in Humanities) or TGT (B.Sc. with 60%, BA with 55%) may be considered if B.Ed. candidates are unavailable (for Hard/Very Hard stations).
- Relaxation in CTET: In absence of CTET-qualified candidates, otherwise eligible candidates may be considered.
