Eligibility	1. Ministerial staff who have retired voluntarily with a strong service record or upon reaching the age of superannuation will only be eligible for consideration for such an appointment if they are deemed suitable and appropriate. 2. Retired Ministerial Staff who have been fired, removed, forced to leave their position, or who have requested voluntary retirement following the start of a departmental investigation against them will not be entitled to be taken into consideration for such an ad hoc appointment.
Pay & Allowances	A retired ministerial staff member appointed under the scheme on an as-needed basis is entitled to compensation and benefits at the rate they were receiving at the time of retirement less the entire amount of pension they were receiving following commutation under the applicable pension rules. Additionally, he or she will be eligible for all other regular benefits that are available to in-service employees of the relevant cadres.
