Qualification

1. Associate Professor (Law)

i. A Ph.D. degree in the relevant, related, or concerned fields and a strong academic record.
ii. A Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% of marks (or, if the grading system is used, an equal grade on a point scale).
iii. A minimum of seven publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals, a total research score of seventy-five (75), and at least eight years of experience teaching and/or conducting research in an academic or research role equivalent to that of an assistant professor in a university, college, or accredited research institution/industry.

2. Assistant Professor of Law/ English/ Sociology

i. A Master’s degree from an Indian institution in a relevant, related field with 55% of marks (or an equivalent grade in a point system, wherever the grading system is used) or an equivalent degree from a recognized foreign university.
ii. In addition to meeting the requirements listed above, the candidate must have passed the UGC or CSIR national eligibility test (NET), or a test that is comparable and approved by the UGC, such as SLET/SET, or who is or has been granted a Ph.D. degree in line with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempt from NET/SLET/SET.

Important information for candidates

  1. A completed application form and a demand draft for Rs. 1,000 made payable to the Registrar of National Law University, Odisha, payable at Cuttack, should be delivered to the Registrar of National Law University, Odisha.

Remuneration
The Assistant professor will be paid a monthly consolidated amount of Rs.50,000/- and guest faculty will be pad Rs.1500/- per class.
Qualification
