Applications have been invited for the following posts on contractual basis under ITEP in the Department of Education of the University of Sambalpur:
- Assistant Professor in Educational Studies: परिवर्तनशील (Variable)
- Assistant Professor in Liberal Discipline and Pedagogy (Social Science – History, Geography, Political Science, Economics): परिवर्तनशील (Variable)
- Assistant Professor in Liberal Discipline and Pedagogy (Language – English, Odia): परिवर्तनशील (Variable)
Eligibility Criteria
1. Assistant Professor in Liberal Discipline and Pedagogy:
- Essential Qualification:
- Postgraduate (Post-Graduate) degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grades in the respective subject (history, geography, political science, economics, English or Oriya).
- B.Ed. degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
- As per UGC rules, it is necessary to have NET/SLET or Ph.D. in the concerned subject or education sector
- वांछनीय (Desirable):
- M.Ed or M.Ed with expertise.
- Ph.D. in Education
2. Assistant Professor in Educational Studies:
- Essential Qualification:
- Degree of postgraduate (M.Ed.) in Education with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grades.
- It is necessary to have NET/SLET or Ph.D. as per UGC rule
- वांछनीय (Desirable):
- मनोविज्ञान (Psychology), दर्शनशास्त्र (Philosophy), समाजशास्त्र (Sociology) या इनके संबद्ध विषयों में मास्टर डिग्री।

Important instructions
- This post is based entirely temporary and contractual.
- The appointment will initially be for 1 year, which can be extended for 5 years with 1 day break based on satisfactory performance.
- The appointed contract teacher cannot claim a regular post under any circumstances.
