(Note: Age Relaxation: A relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates will be given as per rules.)

Educational & Other Qualifications

  • SN 01 – Young Professional II:
    • Essential: Master’s degree in Plant Breeding / Genetics/Biotechnology disciplines.
    • Desirable: Experience in laboratory work, plant breeding, molecular biology, research writing, knowledge of computer applications, data collection & handling, and statistical analysis.
  • SN 02 – Project Assistant:
    • Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Science OR 3-year Diploma in Engineering & Technology.
    • Desirable:
      1. B.Sc./B.Tech. / M.Tech. in Biotechnology, Biology or Botany.
      2. Minimum 6 months of experience in Molecular and Tissue Culture Lab work.
  • SN 03 – Field Assistant:
    • Essential: Intermediate (12th Pass).
    • Desirable: Working experience in pigeonpea crop.
  • SN 04 – Field/Laboratory Assistant:
    • Essential: Intermediate (12th pass).
    • Desirable: Working experience in lentil crop.
  • SN 05 – Young Professional-I:
    • Essential: Graduation in Agriculture/Botany from a recognized university.
    • Desirable: Experience in field / computer application / bioinformatics.
  • SN 06 – Field Assistant:
    • Essential: Graduate in any discipline.
    • Desirable: Working experience in lentil crop.
  • SN 07 – Young Professional-II:
    • Essential: Post Graduate degree (Genetics & Plant Breeding, Plant Breeding, Genetics, Agricultural Botany with GPB, Biotechnology, Horticulture, Vegetable Science) from a recognized university. Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines (e.g Agriculture, Horticulture) from a recognized university.
    • Desirable: Work Experience in data documentation, recording and data analysis; NET (ASRB/CSIR/DBT/other relevant Authority); Knowledge of Experimental design, Handling of seed store, Cataloguing and maintenance of breeding lines/germplasm, Field breeding techniques.
  • SN 08 – Young Professional-I:
    • Essential: Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines (e.g., Agriculture, Horticulture, Vegetable Sciences, Botany, Agricultural Botany) from a recognized university.
    • Desirable: Knowledge/Experience in data recording, basic lab techniques, crossing, Net house trial maintenance, basic computer skills.
  • SN 09 – Field Assistant:
    • Essential: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
    • Desirable: Experience in maintaining trials of plant breeding experiments, crossing, seed packet preparation for sowing, field activities, data recording, maintenance of seed stores, maintenance of pot experiments, conducting harvesting operations.
  • SN 10 – Project Associate-I:
    • Essential: Four Years Bachelor’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences Or Master’s Degree in Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Bioinformatics / Microbiology / Plant Science / Botany or allied sciences.
    • Desirable: Experience in genome & transcriptome data analysis, recombinant DNA technology, and routine molecular biology techniques.
  • SN 11 – Young Professional-II:
    • Essential: M.Sc. Ag (Genetics & Plant Breeding / Plant Pathology/Plant Biotechnology/Agril. Botany) / M.Sc. in Plant Sciences.
    • Desirable: Working experience in pulses breeding / bioinformatics.
  • SN 12 – Young Professional-1:
    • Essential: Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Science / Agriculture / Horticulture from a recognized university.
    • Desirable: Experience in data handling, cleaning and management; experience in rural household surveys.

Salary Details (वेतनविवरण)

  • SN 01 (Young Professional II): 42,000/- per month (Consolidated)
  • SN 02 (Project Assistant): 27,000/- + 20% HRA per month (Increment of 15% for 3 years of experience with a maximum ceiling of 4 such revisions i.e up to 12 years experience)
  • SN 03 (Field Assistant): Rs. 22000 per month (consolidated)
  • SN 04 (Field/Laboratory Assistant): ₹20,000/- per month consolidated
  • SN 05 (Young Professional-I): Rs. 30,000/- per month consolidated
  • SN 06 (Field Assistant): Rs. 22,000/- per month consolidated
  • SN 07 (Young Professional-II): ₹42,000.00 (consolidated) per month
  • SN 08 (Young Professional-I): ₹30,000.00 (consolidated) per month
  • SN 09 (Field Assistant): ₹22,000.00 (consolidated) per month
  • SN 10 (Project Associate-I):
    • (i) ₹37,000/- + HRA per month for scholars selected through CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship), GATE, or National-level examinations conducted by Central Government Agencies/Institutions.
    • (ii) ₹30,000/- + HRA per month for candidates not falling under (i) above.
  • SN 11 (Young Professional-II): Rs. 42,000/- per month consolidated
  • SN 12 (Young Professional-1): Rs. 30,000/- per month consolidated

चयन प्रक्रिया (Selection Process)

  • Mode: Walk-in-Interview.
  • Screening Test: In case the number of candidates is large, a screening process/written test may be conducted before the interview.
