CSIR-CIMAP Hyderabad Recruitment 2026: CSIR-CIMAP Hyderabad is going to conduct walk-in interview for engagement on purely temporary basis as Project Associate-I (PAT-1, 04 Posts) and Project Assistant-II (PA-II, 01 Post) under the CSIR-Aroma Mission 4.0 (MMP025304) at CSIR-CIMAP Research Centre, Hyderabad. The details are given below: –

Eligibility Criteria (पात्रता मानदंड)

1. Project Associate-I (PAT-I)

  • Maximum Age Limit: 35 Years.
  • Essential Qualification:
    1. M.Sc. in Agricultural/ Horticulture/Biological Sciences (Genetics/ Plant Breeding/ Biotechnology)/ Chemical Sciences (Organic Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry/ Food Technology)/ M. Pharmacy (Pharmacognacy/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry/ Pharmaceutical Analysis)/ BE/B.Tech (Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology) from a recognized University or equivalent and with CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR-NET/JRF/LS qualification or GATE.
    2. M.Sc. in Agricultural/ Horticulture/Biological Sciences (Genetics/ Plant Breeding/ Biotechnology)/ Chemical Sciences (Organic Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry/ Food Technology)/ M. Pharmacy (Pharmacognacy/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry/ Pharmaceutical Analysis)/ BE/B.Tech (Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology) from a recognized University or equivalent.
  • Desirable:
    • For M.Sc. in any branch of Agricultural/ Horticulture/ Biological Sciences: Knowledge or experience in breeding, cultivation, extension and quality planting material generation of medicinal and aromatic crops. Field work experience in medicinal and aromatic crops would be preferred.
    • For M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry/ Medicinal Chemistry/ Food Technology/ Industrial Chemistry) / M. Pharmacy (Pharmacognacy/ Pharmaceutical chemistry/ Pharmaceutical Analysis)/ BE/B.Tech (Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Technology): Knowledge or experience in the area of herbal extractions, process development, value addition, and quality analysis of Medicinal & Aromatic Plants would be preferred.

2. Project Assistant-II (PA-II)

  • Maximum Age Limit: 35 Yrs.
  • Essential Qualification: B.Sc. in Agricultural/ Horticultural from a recognized University or equivalent.
  • Desirable: Fieldwork experience in aromatic and floriculture crops would be preferred.

Salary Details (वेतनविवरण)

  • Project Associate-I (PAT-I):
    1. ₹ 31,000/- + HRA for those candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC/ ICAR/ ICMR NET, including Lectureship/ Assistant Professorship or GATE OR those who have qualified national-level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments like DBT/ DST or equivalent and/or their Agencies and Institutions.
    2. ₹ 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (1) above.
  • Project Assistant-II (PA-II): ₹ 20,000/- + HRA.

Job location (कार्यस्थल)

  • CSIR-CIMAP, Research Centre, Street No. 1, Annapurna Colony, Boduppal, Hyderabad-500 092, Telangana.

  • Selection will be conducted through a Walk-in Interview.

  • The candidates should report for the Walk-in Interview at the given place along with a duly filled and signed Application Form downloaded from the website, along with originals and attested copies of mark sheets, certificates and a recent passport-size photograph.
  • For the walk-in Interview location, candidates can scan the QR Code provided in the official notification.

आवश्यक दस्तावेज (Required Documents)

  1. Duly filled and signed Application Form.
  2. Original mark sheets and certificates.
  3. Attested copies of mark sheets and certificates.
  4. Recent passport-size photograph.
  5. Caste certificate (if applicable).
  6. Custodian certificate from the respective college/university (for candidates who have passed the course(s) but did not get the certificates in due course of time).

महत्वपूर्ण दिशा-निर्देश (Important instructions)

  1. Engagement will initially be for a period of one year and may be extended or curtailed depending on project requirements, the incumbent’s performance and conduct, and the availability of funds from funding agencies, as the case may be.
  2. The tenure of project staff shall be co-terminus with the project. However, under no circumstances may the tenure exceed five years. The performance of the project staff will be reviewed periodically so that anyone not found up to the mark may be terminated.
  3. The position is only temporary and, therefore, will not confer any right on the incumbent to any claim, implicit or explicit, on any post in CSIR-CIMAP.
  4. The upper age limit as on the date of the Walk-in Interview is relaxable as per the Government of India Rules, i.e., up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes/Persons with Disabilities/Women and 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer).
