Eligibility Criteria (पात्रता मानदंड)

1. Coordinator Grade-I

• Essential:
  1. Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.
  2. Nine years’ of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level 10 and above with experience in educational administration, ORComparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher educationORFive years’ of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent post.
• Desirable: Relevant Experience in the areas of Establishment/ Examinations/ Finance.

2. Assistant Librarian

• Essential:
  1. A Master’s degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% of marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed).
  2. A consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library.
  3. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009

3. System Analyst

• Essential: First class M.E./ M.Tech. (Computer Science & Technology/ Information Technology)/ MCA/ M.Sc. (Computer Science/ Information Technology) or equivalent. OR First class B.E./B. Tech. (Computer Science & Technology/ Information Technology) or equivalent with two years of relevant experience.
• Desirable:Cisco Certified Network Associate/ Cisco Certified Network Professional or equivalent certification.

4. Library Assistant

• Essential:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Library & Information Science or equivalent from a recognized University.
  2. Typing speed of 30 words per minute in English.
  3. Knowledge of Computer Applications.

चयन प्रक्रिया (Selection Process)

1. Screening of Application Forms:
   • The duly constituted Screening Committee shall screen the applications and shortlist the candidates in accordance with the eligibility criteria, prescribed in the advertisement and as per recruitment rules. The ratio between the number of vacant posts to be filled and the number of candidates to be called for interview will be maximum up to 1:15. In order to comply with this requirement of maximum ratio, the Screening committee may fix higher criteria at its discretion for the candidates so as to downsize the number of candidates.
2. Written/ Skill Tests:
   • The University shall hold the written and skill tests for all Group “B” and “C” Non-Teaching posts (i.e. Level 1 to Level 7 in pay matrix) under Direct Recruitment.

Eligibility

i) An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with, a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed journals and a total research score of 120 as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2, of UGC Regulation, 2018.

ii) A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/ Associate Professor/ Professor, and / or research experience at equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate.

Law

1. LL.M. in Law and Ph.D. Degree in Law.
2. Other qualifications and conditions as per UGC Regulation, 2018 for the post of Professor.

Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering

a. Ph.D. degree in relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch.

AND

b. Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching / research / industry out of which at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor.

AND

c. At least 6 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals and at least 2 successful Ph.D. guided as Supervisor / Co-supervisor.

OR

At least 10 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals.

Eligibility details for the post of ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

Human Development & Family Studies, Hindi

i) A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.

ii) A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).

iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed journals and a total research score of Seventy-five (75) as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2, of UGC Regulation, 2018.

Eligibility details for the post of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

ENGLISH

Eligibility

i. A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

ii. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET:

Provided, the candidates registered for the Ph.D. programme prior to July 11, 2009, shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances/Bye-laws/Regulations of the Institution awarding the degree and such Ph.D. candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/ Colleges/ Institutions subject to the fulfilment of the following conditions:

a. The Ph.D. degree of the candidate has been awarded in a regular mode;

b. The Ph.D. thesis has been evaluated by at least two external examiners;

c. An open Ph.D. viva voce of the candidate has been conducted;

d. The Candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work, out of which at least one is in a refereed journal;

e. The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph.D work in conferences / seminars sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC / ICSSR/ CSIR or any similar agency.

The fulfilment of these conditions is to be certified by the Registrar or Dean (Academic Affairs) of University concerned.

Note: NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET.

Assistant Professor-cum-Assistant Director

चयन प्रक्रिया (Selection Process)

1. The selection on the post will be made on the basis of Interview. Mere eligibility will not entitle any candidate to be called for interview. The short listing of the candidates to be called for interview shall be done as per University rules.
2. The screening committee reserves the right of deciding the disciplines as concerned/allied/relevant while screening of the application forms.
3. The Academic score as specified in Appendix II (Table 3A) for Universities, of UGC Regulations, 2018, shall be considered for short-listing of the candidates for interview only, and the selections shall be based only on the performance in the interview.
