OUAT College of Agriculture Bhawanipatna Recruitment 2026: College of Agriculture Bhawanipatna is going to conduct Walk-in-interview for the engagement of Guest faculties in the subject of Plant Breeding and Genetics in the College of Agriculture, OUAT, Bhawanipatna through Walk-In-Interview to be conducted in the chamber of the undersigned on 29th September, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria (ଯୋଗ୍ୟତା ମାପଦଣ୍ଡ)

  • Essential Qualification: B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag with Master’s Degree in Plant Breeding and Genetics with minimum 55% marks or equivalent in Master’s.
  • Desirable Qualification: NET/Ph.D. qualified in Plant Breeding and Genetics.
  • Age limit: Maximum age of 64 years as on 31.07.2026.

Salary Details (ଦରମାବିବରଣୀ)

  • @Rs. 1200/- per class, subject to a maximum of 50 classes per month (maximum remuneration Rs. 60,000/month).

  • Walk-In-Interview to be conducted in the chamber of the undersigned on 29th September, 2026 at 10.30 AM in Dean’s chamber, College of Agriculture, Bhabanipatana.
  • Research publication in peer reviewed journals will be given due weightage.

  • Interested candidates will have to appear for Walk-In-Interview on 29th September, 2026 at 10.30 AM for the subject as mentioned in the advertisement in the website of OUAT, Bhubaneswar (www.ouat.ac.in).
  • The candidates desirous of attending the walk-in interview must report at the venue latest by 9:30 AM on the date of interview.
  • The candidate will have to submit a Demand Draft/Bankers’ Cheque of Rs. 500.00 drawn in favour of Comptroller, OUAT, Bhubaneswar before appearing the interview.

  • All original documents (certificate, mark sheets from HSCE onwards, experience certificate etc.).
  • Two sets of self-attested photocopy of each document.
  • Two recent passport size photographs.
  • Updated Bio-data.
  • No objection certificate (NOC) from the present employer, if any.
  • Demand Draft/Bankers’ Cheque of Rs. 500.00 drawn in favour of Comptroller, OUAT, Bhubaneswar.

ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶାବଳୀ (Important instructions)

  1. Research publication in peer reviewed journals will be given due weightage.
  2. Age limit: Maximum age of 64 years as on 31.07.2026.
  3. The tenure of guest faculty will be maximum for one year or filling up the post in regular manner, whichever is earlier. Continuation beyond one year depends on the requirement and satisfactory performance of the Guest Faculty.
  4. The incumbent shall not have any claim for regular appointment under OUAT.
  5. The guest faculty may leave the assignment, by giving one month prior notice and he/she will be disengaged thereafter.
  6. The candidate must bring all the documents in original (certificate, mark sheets from HSCE onwards, experience certificate etc.), two sets of self-attested photocopy of each document and two recent passport size photographs along with updated Bio-data to be produced at the time of interview.
  7. No objection certificate (NOC) from the present employer, if any, is to be produced at the time of interview.
  8. The empanelment will remain valid for one year. The undersigned reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions on basis of need and approval of the competent authority or to cancel the interview process without assigning any reason.
  9. Interested candidates will have to appear for Walk-In-Interview on 29th September, 2026 at 10.30 AM for the subject as mentioned in the advertisement in the website of OUAT, Bhubaneswar. (www.ouat.ac.in).
  10. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing the interview. The candidates desirous of attending the walk-in interview must report at the venue latest by 9:30 AM on the date of interview.
  11. The candidate will have to submit a Demand Draft/Bankers’ Cheque of Rs. 500.00 drawn in favour of Comptroller, OUAT, Bhubaneswar before appearing the interview.
  12. In the event the walk-in interview cannot be conducted on the date as mentioned above, the new date will be notified in the OUAT website in the afternoon of the previous working day of scheduled date of interview. Any update will also be notified in the OUAT website. The desirous candidates are required to keep a track on the OUAT website for any updates.
