Paradip Port Authority Recruitment 2026: Paradip Port Authority (PPA), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, invites applications from Indian Nationals for filling up of the following post through Direct Recruitment:
Vacancy Details (ଶୂନ୍ୟପଦ ବିବରଣୀ)
- Name of Post: Assistant Manager (Welfare) (Class-II)
- Number of Post: 01 (UR)
Eligibility Criteria (ଯୋଗ୍ୟତା ମାପଦଣ୍ଡ)
- Essential Qualification: Must be Graduate from a recognized University with Degree or Diploma in Social Science from any Institution recognized by State/Central Govt. with adequate knowledge in Oriya language.
- Experience: 5 years’ experience as Welfare Officer will be preferred in any Govt./ PSU /Reputed Organization.
- Age Limit: Upper age limit is 35 years.
- The cut-off date for determining the age is 01.09.2026.
- Relaxation of upper age limit in respect of workers engaged through contractors/co-operative societies/directly by PPA will be as per the rules of PPA.
- Employees of the Board of any Major Port possessing the prescribed qualifications and experience may also apply, provided that the age limit in such cases shall not exceed fifty-five years.

- Scale of Pay: Rs. 40,000 – 1,40,000/-

- Persons employed in Government Service (including Port Employees) should send their applications through proper channel and have to produce ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their present employer at the time of interview.

ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶାବଳୀ (Important Instructions)
- Qualification & experience of the candidates should be strictly in accordance with the prescribed Recruitment Rules.
- Important information for Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): Candidates with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) shall be considered for appointment only after being assessed by the Appellate Medical Board. The Board will evaluate both the medical fitness and ability to meet the prescribed physical requirements. Only those PwBD candidates who are declared fit by the Medical Board on both these aspects shall be considered for appointment.
- Physical Requirements: S – Sitting, RW – Reading & Writing, H – Hearing, C – Communication
- PwBD Categories Identified Suitable: OA – One Arm, OL – One Leg, BL – Both Leg, B – Blind, LV – Low Vision, HH – Hearing Impaired
- No request for change of any entries or part, originally indicated in the application form, shall be entertained.
- The candidates have to ensure themselves that they are eligible as per advertisement conditions and possess essential qualification as on the cut-off date.
- The candidates shall be held responsible for the correctness of all information given by him/her and in case of any information/documents found to be incorrect at a later stage, action shall be taken against the candidates, including dismissal / termination from service as per rules, without any notice.

- Any kind of dispute with regard to the recruitment will be subject to jurisdiction of the courts within the district of Jagatsinghpur, Odisha only.
- Decision of the Appointing Authority would be final with regard to all matters connected with the recruitment.
