   • Project Title: “Identity Testing for Algebraic Models” in the School of Computer Sciences, NISER, funded by ANRF.
2. • Post Name: Junior Research Fellow
   • Number of Positions: One temporary position
   • Project Title: “Design Fabrication and Characterization of low-Gain Avalanche Detectors (LGADs) for ultra-fast Timing in Radiation Detection and Medical Imaging Applications” in the Centre for Medical and Radiation Physics, NISER, Bhubaneswar funded by ANRF, India.

   • Number of Positions: One temporary position
   • Project Title: “Quantum Computing using neutral atoms” in the School of Physical Sciences, NISER, Bhubaneswar funded by DST, Govt of India.

   • Project Title: “Rainbow Diet Campaign for Odisha: Development and Scaling of Customised Rainbow Diet Food Matrices for Combating Malnutrition among Children in Keonjhar District” in the School of Biological Sciences, NISER Bhubaneswar funded by ICAR-CTCRI.

   • Number of Positions: One temporary position
   • Project Title: JC Bose Fellowship grant in the School of Physical Sciences, NISER, Bhubaneswar funded by SERB/ANRF.

Eligibility Criteria (ଯୋଗ୍ୟତା ମାପଦଣ୍ଡ)

1. Senior Project Associate

• ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: Four years Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics/Engineering/Technology or related areas or Master’s degree in Mathematics/Engineering/Technology or related areas, from a recognized university; AND, four years’ experience in R&D in industrial and/or academic institutions. OR Doctoral Degree in Mathematics/Engineering/Technology or related areas from a recognized university.
• AGE LIMIT: 50 years as on 23.10.2026.

2. Junior Research Fellow

• Essential Qualifications:
  1. Master’s degree in Physics or B.E/B.Tech. in Electronics.
  2. Valid National Eligibility Tests CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or valid GATE.
• Desirable: Experience with one of the following: TCAD simulation (Silvaco/Sentaurus), Signal processing algorithms, C++/python programming and DAQ systems.
• Age Limit: 28 years as on 25/09/2026, age relaxation to entitled categories as per rules.

3. Research Associate-I

• Essential Qualifications: PhD in Physics or relevant area from a recognized institute.
• Maximum Age: 35 years as on 21.09.2026 and age relaxation to entitled categories as per rules.

4. Special Work-based Consultant

• ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: MSc in Life Sciences or allied branches from a recognized Institute or university.
• DESIRABLE: Prior experience of handling laboratory animals is desirable. Prior experience of animal behavioral data collection is also desirable. The candidate is expected to have a good skill in computer application, communication in English and Hindi.
• AGE: Maximum of 30 years as on last on 15.09.2026. Age relaxation as per GOI norms.

5. Research Associate-I

• Essential Qualifications: PhD in Physics from a recognized institute.
• Desirable: Experience in rare event search.
• Maximum Age: 35 years as on 12.09.2026 and age relaxation to entitled categories as per rules.

Salary Details (ଦରମାବିବରଣୀ)

• Senior Project Associate: Monthly Emoluments: ₹57,000/- p.m. + HRA (as per rules)
• Junior Research Fellow: Monthly Emoluments: ₹37,000/- pm plus HRA as per rules
• Research Associate-I (Quantum Computing): Monthly Emoluments: ₹58,000/- pm plus HRA as per rules
• Special Work-based Consultant: FELLOWSHIP: ₹10,000/ month (Consolidated)
• Research Associate-I (JC Bose Fellowship): Monthly Emoluments: ₹58,000/- pm plus HRA as per rules
